'renzo turns two today. it's bittersweet. looking back at pictures of his birth it's easy to see that bk was overwhelmed and unhappy. but i remember the feelings of elation i was having about having a successful home birth and breastfeeding an infant again, this family swelling and me feeling in love with the world. i'm upset that those feeling are mixed in with betrayal and anger and sadness but truly, these two amazing kids have kept me afloat all this time. i can't believe how fast it has all gone.
