well the house won't be done until July 9th and we have to be out of the condo by june 30. doh! we are knee-deep in boxes, dust, and miscellaneous crap... all of our stuff has to go into a pod to be stored for the 2-3 weeks until we can move in. we'll be staying at my mom's new place in the meantime.
Two Become One...
*Scratch*
is it wrong to pick a homebirth midwife based on the fact that she looks like a really nice person? and no, i'm not pregnant.
parker said "nurse" for the first time today. she's been signing it since she was about 8 or 9 months old but today was the first time she spoke it!

Nice Boobs
i took parker swimming a few days ago with danielle (21 months) and her mama, debbie. debbie's sister, jody, stopped by the pool for a bit. at one point i had to chase after the girls and when i came back to my towel the two of them were whispering. i raised my eyebrows at debbie and she said: "jody was just admiring your perfect boobs! she thought they were fake." so of course i told her it was just one of the *many* perks of breastfeeding!

Here we go...
i am feeling a great deal of anxiety over parker's appointment on friday with her ped... i called because she has a little skin tag on her nipple and (stupidly) mentioned that she hasn't had her 15 month well-baby check up (at 16.5 months). they said, "no prob we'll do both" (the 15 & 18 month appts.). ugh. now i have to inform them that she didn't get her 12 month or 15 month shots...and won't be. the ped is pretty crunchy so i have my fingers crossed that all goes well. nonetheless, parker freaked out at her 1 year appointment and i'm hoping we don't have a repeat of that.
