sad news. manuel santana (manny to us) died on tuesday. he was a close friend of my grandpa's and our entire family really. he was a wonderful artist and owned jardine's in san juan bautista where my grandpa played mandolin for many years. i hope that where ever those two are, they're together with music and drink and good food. :)
