d and i watched candy a couple nights ago. it's an australian film starring heath ledger, abbie cornish, and geoffrey rush dealing with heroin addiction. according to mdc readers (who also happen to be addicts) it is the most accurate heroin movie out there. terribly depressing (and doubly sad because of heath's real life overdose) but worthwhile and well done film. PLEASE AVOID this movie if you are sensitive to miscarriage/stillbirth subject matter.
