sometimes having an uninvolved ex is a good thing. i carefully, thoughtfully broached the topic of the kids and me possibly maybe potentially heading up to arnold to for thanksgiving with d's family. um, so? 'cool. how long will you guys be gone?' and there ya go. he and ms. bk are hosting a vegan (no tofurkey, boo!) dinner at their place and apparently were counting on the kids being with me anyway.

there is something terribly terrifying and exciting about the fact that there is nothing standing in the way of us putting snake & butterfly up for business next week. we have (we hope) enough inventory and we're ready to roll. oh. my. god.
