
getting closer! amy is working on our website (do i have your permission to share your website?) and she's doing some really lovely work. we cannot WAIT to have things up and running. speaking with somebody about product liabilty insurance. developing a new chocolate dessert for the moroccan restaurant that we're selling the (extremely labor intensive) truffles to. found out that we don't need to get a seller's permit (since we're selling food) so that saves us one step. got the information about the farmer's market. looks easy to apply! one of us needs to take a food safety course through the health department (b, you're all over it!). securing a loan to buy a melanguer (refiner) that can do 40 pounds of chocolate at once, instead of 8. the thing weighs 250 pounds and stands 2.5 feet tall. we've gotta find a kitchen to house this baby. i can't believe that after a year, things feel within arm's reach.
