today is the 11 year (!) anniversary of the death of my friend jeff and his father and oldest sister.
jeff's dad (52) was driving to tahoe the with jeff (15) and his sister (21) when a drunk driver (who blew .22% blood alcohol level) in oncoming traffic veered out of his lane and struck them. all three (plus the drunk drivers's brother) died instantly. they were survived by jeff's mom and two older sisters.
jeff was the third boy i ever kissed (the list really isn't long). we were in 8th grade. one of the worst kisses ever. :D one of the happiest and funniest boys ever. his mom (who was at my wedding and parker's baby shower) is incredible. i still think about them a lot.
please please don't drink and drive.
