parker had her first day of school. she had a bit of a hard time when i left but miss tiffany held her and when i came to pick her up she said she did great after about 10 minutes and even made a friend, evan (hi evan p., are you alive!?). i think it was harder for me in a way. i feel like she'll think i'm abandoning her when i leave her like that. she started asking for this safety pin with a red bead on it that i wear sometimes when she's going off with r and now to school. it helps her remember that i love her and that i'll be seeing her really soon. the fantabulous thing about this particular item is that it can be replaced easily if it happens to get lost. ;o)
