well, gas has already reached $3.05 for regular in our area. i was feeling sorry for us then i watched the news for the first time in weeks. how awful things are in louisiana. i cannot even imagine. president bush made some stupid comments about how quickly help is on the way. really? tell that to the people who have been stuck in the stadiums or on rooftops for the past FOUR days. only 5000 people were transported to houston today. all those freakin' buses and that's it? oh our dear prez also made a comment about a "no tolerance" policy for people looting. dear mr. bush, if you don't want people to steal food and water, SEND THEM SOME ALTERNATIVES! ugh.
