someone from my lawyer's office called this morning and told me to come down and sign the last paper so that our motion can be filed. i felt pretty good that things aren't going to be this way forever. hopefully we'll be before the judge really soon. also, they told me that he'd had his lawyer contact them so now we know who she is. she'll be accepting service on his behalf from now on. and i shouldn't have to talk to him about anything from now on.
also, i went over to our joint storage unit and got 99% of my stuff out so that i don't have to worry about the lock getting cut and my stuff taken if/when he decides to stop paying for the unit. that felt good. one more bit of closure too.
