i jumped in the pool to rescue lorenzo (he was laughing two seconds after i brought him up...) about a week ago and jammed my ankle really badly. finally, now that it's all swollen and terrible to walk on, i went to the doctor today. they took a bunch of x-rays and said they'd call if it's broken. i have a hideously ugly post-op boot that they gave me in the mean time... oy.
no news from the lawyer week so i'm assuming bk hasn't been served with the papers yet. he took the kids yesterday from six to nine. i gave him a list and asked him to take the kids out and get them some summer clothes. he said he'd try but he couldn't really afford it. lest i start to feel guilty for kindly requesting child support i found a picture of him and miss bk online today, above some canal in venice. i feel he affords what is important to him.
and CHOCOLATE! we have some for sale! i'll post a list of what we've got tomorrow so that you can get in on it. all money we get from this is going directly back to start-up fees (fictitious business name registration: $40. business license: $150. self-sufficiency: priceless.)
