i can't imagine how it must have felt to those that lived through the civil rights movement, to have seen the first black president (and his beautiful wife and daughters!) elected last night. GOBAMA!
i can't imagine how it must have felt to have gotten married and then have your home state tell you that your marriage isn't valid, or CONSTITUTIONAL this morning.
i will be leaving the 'unfair & wrong' sign in my front yard until it is ruined, blown away, or stolen. i'm appalled that it doesn't take a two thirds majority to change the state constitution. i'm embarrassed to be a californian today. and so so sorry to the glbt community that our efforts weren't enough here or florida or arizona or arkansas. this is a big step back.
