can someone from this area answer a question? why is it that in and around d.c. one ocassionally (or frequently) gets overpowering whiffs of sewage? blech!
it was hot today. humid sticky yucky. but! that didn't stop us from sightseeing. we spent a few hours at the arlington national cemetary and then went to the jefferson memorial.
we had to stop for a "rest" on the way to jfk's grave.
got to see the changing of the guard at the tomb of the unknown soldier. really cool.
more pictures later. have to wrangle the kids down to bed. we were up until 2am last night (the wedding went until 12.30am).
