so we dried off at the hotel this afternoon and then met up with my friend (they are also from california but her husband is in government and they are in alexandria for 5 weeks!). my friend's daughter is parker's best friend and she also has a son that is about 8 months older than 'renzo. SO perfect. we walked and had dinner together at bittersweet (YUM) and then took cupcakes (double YUM) to the fountain. as you can see from the pictures it stayed fairly overcast today.
