so we went to san luis again and went camping with my dad and maria, and r's dad and sister. we had a really great time, mostly. on saturday night r choked during dinner and had to go to the hospital. r seems to have GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) which among other things causes problems in swallowing. in any case, he is okay but it was really scary for all of us.
