it's days like yesterday that make me question whether we should bring more children into this crazy messed up world. *sigh* maybe my kids will be part of the generation that turns things around.
so yesterday parker participated in the tc's annual 4th of july parade. we're talking kids on decorated bikes, seniors on decorated rascals, poodles dressed up...there's even a miss tc! parker rode her tricycle (with a little help from r) while mom and i cheered from the porch and took pictures. later in the day there was a potluck and raffle (we won a box of see's candy) with about 85 other residents at the clubhouse. parker got to play with our friends (homebirthers, co-sleepers, baby-wearers, breast-feeders yay!) from down the street. they have a 4 year old, a two year old, and a 9 month old. then, last night parker and i went with dad and maria to watch the fireworks. miss p was a little afraid at first but then she got into it!
