whew, what a weekend this has been. i keep feeling like i've gotten something done and then when i open a new box it looks like i've undone everything. the good news is that i pretty much finished parker's room and seems to be settling in really well. that said, she's flipped since r went to work about an hour and a half ago. (then again, so have i!)
i keep finding things that i didn't really know i was missing: listening to cds on my stereo, using my own pots/pans/dishes/silverware/etc, vacuuming(!), my clothes. and then there are things like the tv that i find myself not missing at all. we've decided to not hook one up actually, and just rent dvd's that we can watch on our computers instead. will WILL however be getting high speed internet. ;0)
the theme of this move so far is books. i think they may have made sweet booky love in storage and have given birth to lots of book babies. in any event, r will be building at least a few bookcases. i suppose there are worse things!
